If you want to privately discuss an idea in debate-studio.org, or if you want to finally participate with it in the crossed debates of the "fighting arena" moderated by the scientific area, for inclusion in the opinion graph, the first step is to create your own "Debate Channel" in the opinion space, or participate in an existing one with which you agree.

In this way, you will be able to maintain a continuous debate on the ideas that you defend, elevating its analysis and precise definition against other antagonistic or similar ideas. And if you are the creator of said Debate Channel, you must assume its mentorship and moderation of its internal debates.

First of all, you must create a user on the platform if you have not already done so. If you are already a user, click here to skip this step.

Let's first see how to create your user in the platform.

To do this, enter in here and click on the registration button. Next, you must choose the profile you want on the platform. If what interests you most is defending your ideas, participating in Debate Clubs led by others, or even leading your own one, choose the "Opinion Space Member" profile. This type of registration does not require authorization from the platform, so after filling in your data, accepting the Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, and respect for the Platform Manifesto, and sending your request, you will receive an email, which once confirmed, it will take you directly to your profile already created on the platform. And now you will be able to browse, create Debate Clubs, and interact with the rest of the members.

However, if in addition to all this, you have a critical vocation and wish to contribute to the scientific objectives of our Manifest, always altruistically, you must register as a Member of the Scientific Area. In such a case, after accepting the Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, and respect to the Platform Manifesto, and submitting your request, it will be supervised by members of our Scientific Area, and they will contact you to begin a knowledge process. mutual for the final acceptance or rejection of your request. This is so due to the strict scientific regulations of said Area. If accepted, you will receive a specific and personal tutorial for handling the appropriate tools for creating scientific resources, integrating with other scientists, moderating live debates, knowledge engineering, etc.

Note: Although not all data is mandatory when filling in your profile (only those marked with an asterisk), remember to reflect about yourself what you consider important for your enjoyment of the platform, especially if you wish to be part of the scientific area, since in this case you must collaborate with other scientists. And of course, correctly inform the images of your profile and background, the aesthetic aspect of your personal profile is also important.

CREATING A DEBATE CLUB

In this section you will learn how to create your own Debate Club. Let's see the following image.

ree

First of all, click on the "Debate Club" menu and press the "New Debate Club" button.

A list of categories (economy, technology, science, social and rights) will appear (step 2). You must enter one of them and choose a thematic subcategory (step 3) in which to include your idea... Keep in mind that they are merely indicative categories to be able to order the search for Debate Clubs in the opinion space...

Once that subcategory has been chosen, a technical sheet will appear that you must fill in to create your Debate Club. You must inform at least the obligatory data (marked with an asterisk). Interpret this file as the configuration of your own public or private social network for discussion around your idea...

Describe correctly your Debate Club idea in the description.

Decide if you want any user to be able to subscribe to your Debate Club directly, or need your confirmation after the request, or simply, that only your Debate Club members can invite other users to participate.

Finally, decide what method you want to use to automatically notify your subscribers of any new announcements, discussions, or media from your Debate Club (ie via email and/or platform messaging).

Although you are not obligated, we recommend that you also inform the two images that will represent your Debate Club (a small one, "Debate Club avatar", and an elongated one, "cover page"). That way, your subscribers, and also those who are interested in your idea, will remember you visually.

Use your imagination so that everyone visualizes the essence of your debated idea, and as we indicate in the conditions of use of the platform, remember to use in this phase (and in any other that involves sending multimedia), only non-offensive material, and owned by you or in the public domain. Any infraction detected in this sense will be treated according to the conditions of use of the platform.

And finally, click on "Send". The creation of Debate Clubs does not require any authorization from the platform, so once yours has been created, you will see it directly active on the screen.

ree

From now on, from the options bar and the ellipses at the bottom of your newly created Debate Club, you can invite your friends to subscribe (see how to make friends here), modify the characteristics of your Debate Club, create discussion and announcements, publish audio, video and image albums, and consult the history of activity.

To engage with other Debate Clubs in the opinion space, learn how to use the search header and request subscription in other discussion threads.
