On the platform's social network you can create and modify your profile, your Debate Clubs, Scientific Resources, participate in debates, upload multimedia...

In this section, you will learn the basic options of the Clubs, Resources and personal profiles of the network. The first thing is to understand how the information is seen on the platform network.

In the following image, above you can see the file of a member of the network, as he sees it himself. And further down in the same image, how the rest of the connected users see him.

If you notice, a profile has a part common to any observer (be it you or the one looking for your profile), and a different part.

If you look at the green box, any user can access public information of any other, such as their activity on the network (timeline), their profile (About...), their friends, their followers (likes), their published multimedia albums, their debates and surveys (if they are enabled), and their list of Clubs and Scientific Resources created (these last ones only at a basic informative level, the record of the Club or Resource does not imply permission to participate in them).

In the upper red box, however, there are those actions that only the user of the profile shown can do (edit their profile), and in the lower one, those actions that can be carried out by the rest of the observers of that profile (request friendship, leave the same, make a notified follow-up of its activity, block its messages, or report a suspected illegal activity for review by the platform administration.

The same happens with Debate Clubs and Scientific Resources.

In the image we see that any network observer (including the creator of the Club or Resource), can view the following information:

- Timeline

- Basic information of the Club or Resource

- Your subscribed members

- The published media

- Posted discussions

- Surveys, questions, news...

In addition, the observer, if he is not the owner of the Club or Scientific Resource, can request to join it, abandon said subscription if he already had it, or report any improper use observed.

However, only the owner of the Club or Scientific Resource can edit or cancel it. And any of its members (if the owner decides so), will be able to invite third parties to join, create discussions for members, live debates through telepresence, announcements, publish multimedia...

To feel confident about what you can or cannot do, a good practice is to find a friend and create with him a Discussion Channel, as moderator, and cross-practice all the alternatives.

A very useful tool is direct internal messaging between platform users. Simply locate the person and send them a message. You will receive it in your top tray, and also as email if you want.
